Information collected

The calculators work without personal information. If a user requests follow-up, ProprioValeur collects the submitted name, email, city, timeline and displayed scenario. An address and property type are optional. The Contact form collects only the submitted name, email, topic and message so we can reply. Newsletter subscriptions store the submitted email, language and consent record until unsubscribe or consent withdrawal.

Address lookup

Optional address lookup compares the query with an index derived from the public assessment roll. The address is used only to return suggestions and the requested record; it is not added to a profile, sent to a broker or shared with Microsoft Clarity. Normal hosting logs may contain the requested URL for their usual retention period, so property URLs use a non-sequential identifier instead of the address.

Device storage

The guided journey keeps a draft in the browser session for up to 24 hours of inactivity. Some calculators retain a local draft for up to 30 days. Drafts can be reset in the tools. Names and email addresses are not included in those drafts.

Private scenario statistics

With analytics consent, we record major tool milestones, a recognized municipality and neighbourhood or municipal sector, property type, region, language, device category and broad financial ratio bands. Estimated prices are grouped into $50,000 bands in the browser before sending; only these bands are used to calculate an approximate average. When a property is selected, its public ID is cryptographically hashed on the server so distinct properties can be counted without retaining the address in the analytics table. Exact amounts, addresses, names, email addresses, geographic coordinates and URL parameters are excluded. A random session identifier expires after 30 minutes and is not used to recognize you across devices. Individual analytics history is never attached to a contact request.

Market-intelligence reports aggregate these signals by area and suppress cells with fewer than ten observations. They describe only interest observed on ProprioValeur and keep it separate from property transactions. You can decline or withdraw analytics consent through “Manage analytics.” Without consent, no scenario statistics are sent. Consent to broker follow-up is requested separately in the form.

Microsoft Clarity

Microsoft Clarity loads only after analytics consent. Calculator and form surfaces are masked in session recordings.

Use and sharing

Submitted information supports the requested follow-up and, with consent, may be shared with selected real estate professionals who can contact the user. ProprioValeur may receive referral compensation.

When a user gives the separate consent displayed at newsletter signup, ProprioValeur or a selected partner may also contact them about real estate opportunities that may interest them. Contact details may be shared only with the partner responsible for that communication. Consent may be withdrawn or the newsletter unsubscribed from at any time.

Retention and security

Detailed scenario events expire after 60 days. Property-interest events containing only a hashed property ID are retained for up to 730 days for trend comparisons; daily and monthly aggregates are retained for historical reporting. Contact requests and their notes are deleted after 730 days without activity on the file. Administrative action logs are retained for 365 days and contain no contact details or note contents. Scheduled maintenance removes expired records in bounded batches. Technical backups expire according to the provider’s recovery window.

Cloudflare hosts the database and protects the private owner account. Server-side checks restrict administration access to the authorized owner. Temporary abuse counters use a cryptographic hash of the network address, kept separate from statistics and contact requests; it is not a browsing identifier. Microsoft processes consented Clarity analytics under its privacy statement.
